Claude → Grok

Switch from Claude to Grok without losing your history

Switching to Grok shouldn’t cost you the context you built up in Claude. Move My Chat packs your Claude projects and conversations into files you can attach to Grok, so nothing gets left behind.

How the move works

  1. 01

    Export your Claude history

In Claude, open Settings → Privacy → Export data. A .zip arrives by email, containing your conversations and your Projects — including the knowledge files attached to each one.

  2. 02

    Repack it here

Drop the .zip into Move My Chat. It reads your export in this browser tab and rebuilds it into clean folders — one per project, with knowledge files and conversation transcripts — plus import instructions written for Grok.

  3. 03

    Unpack it in Grok

Attach the pack’s knowledge files and transcripts to a Grok project or chat, then paste the included starter prompt. Lead with the knowledge files and most recent conversations if a project is large.

Nothing uploaded

Your Claude history never leaves your browser

Move My Chat isn’t a memory service and it doesn’t keep a copy of your chats. Your export is opened, repacked, and downloaded entirely on your own device — no account, no upload, no subscription. The difference from memory platforms is the whole point.
