Export your ChatGPT history
In ChatGPT, open Settings → Data controls → Export data and confirm. A .zip arrives by email within a few minutes, containing your conversations (and your Projects, if you use them).

Drop the .zip into Move My Chat. It reads your export in this browser tab and rebuilds it into clean folders — one per project, with knowledge files and conversation transcripts — plus import instructions written for Gemini.

Unpack it in Gemini
Gemini’s closest thing to a project is a Gem — a custom version of Gemini with its own instructions and files. Create a Gem, paste the pack’s project overview into its instructions, and attach the knowledge files and transcripts.
